Ala Moana Center offers over 800 performances and events each year to give guests a taste of Hawai‘i’s diverse cultural traditions. For decades, Centerstage and ‘Ewa Wing Stage have been a platform for entertainers from Hawai’i and throughout the world who travel to Honolulu to perform at Ala Moana Center.

Royal Hawaiian Band
Experience a treasured Hawai‘i tradition as the Royal Hawaiian Band performs live at Ala Moana Centerstage. Founded in 1836 by King Kamehameha III, the Royal Hawaiian Band is one of Hawai‘i’s most enduring musical institutions, sharing the music and spirit of the Islands with generations of residents and visitors. Enjoy a special live performance featuring the Band’s signature blend of Hawaiian music, marches and beloved island favorites in the heart of Ala Moana Center.

Chinese Lion Dance Association-- Autumn Moon Festival
Celebrate the season and experience the richness of Chinese culture as the Chinese Lion Dance Association presents a special Autumn Moon Festival performance at Ala Moana Centerstage. Enjoy an exciting showcase of traditional Chinese martial arts, colorful lion and dragon dances, and other cultural performances honoring the traditions of the Autumn Moon Festival. This family-friendly celebration brings generations together through movement, music and customs that help perpetuate and share Chinese culture in Hawai‘i.

Student Vocal Showcase at Centerstage Enjoy an afternoon of live music as students from Maria Alexander Voice Studio take the stage at Ala Moana Centerstage. Featuring a variety of student vocal performances, this special showcase gives emerging singers the opportunity to share their talents with family, friends and the community.

Hawai‘i Music Academy Student Showcase
Enjoy an evening of live music as students from Hawai‘i Music Academy take the stage at Ala Moana Centerstage. Featuring 30 talented students performing piano, voice and ʻukulele selections, this special showcase celebrates young musicians as they share what they’ve been learning with family, friends and the community.

Daily Hula Show

Experience the stories and traditions of Hawai‘i shared through the captivating art of hula. Join us for a free 20-minute performance featuring both kahiko (traditional) and ʻauana (modern) hula at 3 p.m. daily on Centerstage. The Centerstage Hula Show takes guests on a journey through Hawai‘i, celebrating the music and dances of our islands and honoring wahi pana (sacred places), ali‘i (chiefs/chiefesses and royalty), and akua (gods/goddesses).


Performances are held Monday through Saturday, with a special Keiki Hula Show every Sunday featuring talented young hula dancers.
